Privacy Policy

MedanoSoft (“we”, “us”) builds and operates software for growing businesses, including the eKabod and Super Handy Bee platforms with their web dashboards and mobile work apps. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or our products, and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, phone number, password (stored hashed) and preferred language, provided by you or by the company that invited you.
• Business data: the records a company enters into MedanoSoft (customers, products, orders, work orders, tasks, photos, documents and notes). Each company owns its data and controls who in its team can see it.
• Usage data: sign-in activity, device and browser information and approximate location derived from IP address, used for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

We use this information to provide and secure the service, to send messages that are part of the service (invitations, access codes, work notifications, receipts), to answer support requests and to comply with the law. We do not sell personal information.

SMS / text messaging

Companies using MedanoSoft may invite their team members to the work app by text message, and the app may send work-related notifications by text.

• Consent: you receive texts only after giving your mobile number to your employer or to the company you work with, who enters it in MedanoSoft on your behalf. No third party will be sent text messages on your behalf.
• Message frequency: low, typically one to three messages per month. Frequency varies with the work assigned to you.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact the company that invited you.
• No sharing of mobile numbers: mobile phone numbers and text-messaging opt-in data are never shared with, sold or transferred to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. They are used only to deliver the messages described here through our messaging provider.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run MedanoSoft (hosting, database, email, text messaging, file storage and payment processing), bound by confidentiality, and when required by law.

Retention and security

Data is kept while the company’s account is active and deleted or anonymized afterwards, except where the law requires longer retention. Data is encrypted in transit and access is restricted to authorized personnel.

You can review and update your account information in the app. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to ask any question about this policy, contact us.
